Mysterious Chinese Space Plane Captured on Camera

Satellite Watcher Snaps New Images of Enigmatic Craft

Third Mission for Shenlong

A mysterious Chinese space plane has been photographed by an amateur satellite watcher, providing new insights into its ongoing mission. The images, captured by Felix Schfbänker from Upper Austria, show the enigmatic craft in orbit after completing its third mission. The space plane, known as Shenlong, is the first unmanned craft of its kind to be launched by China and has been the subject of much speculation since its initial launch in 2020.

Despite the secrecy surrounding Shenlong's missions, satellite imagery has provided valuable information. The latest images reveal that the space plane is approximately 30 meters long and has a wingspan of 15 meters. It resembles a scaled-down version of the US Air Force's X-37B space plane, which has also conducted secretive missions in orbit.

The purpose of Shenlong's missions remains unknown, but experts believe it could be used for a variety of tasks, including satellite repair, technology testing, and potential military applications. The space plane's ability to land and reuse, along with its extended orbital capabilities, suggests that it could play a significant role in China's future space ambitions.
